Hello grade 5/6 class, here is our first blog post of the year! I will try to update this frequently to remind you of any important activities that are upcoming. You can also check the blog for homework reminders and helpful hints for assignments, projects, and tests.
Tomorrow you will have additional time in class to work on your 9/11 project and your name poster. We will also continue to get more involved with our patterning unit.

The Life Of A Gladiator
I cannot turn back, I have gone too far, I continue the fight I am in. With one strong blow of my sword I defeat the beast and start
walking through a eerie forest I get through exhausted and finally get to the next town. Then next day I walk over to the local town
blacksmith and ask him to get a new sword, I pay him and then move on to the next cart, there I buy a shield and plate gloves I sell
my old sword and start walking again. It is quiet. Too quiet I spin around and see a huge python getting ready to attack I bash it with
by shield repeatedly and it is stunned it hisses at me and then slithers away.
I cant help but wonder if I will see anyone else, so far all I have seen are vendors.

7 years later……
I now have impenetrable armor that is black and gold. My new sword is huge and has a real skull on the end of it, it is enchanted with
a glowing light. My gloves are gold and can block bullets if are launched . I can now one-shot pretty much everything that stands in
my way I am on a quest to defeat a huge, hulking, level 97 monster that lives in a cave. I am level 98 so it will be easy……or not. I
come across his cave I enter and see bones everywhere and I hear a loud angry roar I see the beast, he is eating, I guess he roared because
he did not like his food. I charge at him he screeches in agony as my steel blade sinks into his skin. He grabs me and throws me across
the cave, is is running at me now, I get up and run as fast as I can at it I stab it with anger, I grab a dagger out of my pack and
stab the dagger and sword in to its chest and it falls back hard I kick it to make sure. I slice a horn off his head and return to my
quest-giver and hand the horn to him, he gives me a large bag of gold. I say no and give it back. I soon become a boss, sitting in a
large throne, waiting for challengers.

I am just starting my quest. I have chosen to be a mage. I accept my first quest. It will get me to level 2. I must defeat 25
mutant living PLANTS. Yes, PLANTS. I cast a fireball at one. It quickly burns up. I see that they are now hostile to me 3 are
at me I jump in the air and cast frost bolt , they are frozen in a barrier of ice I launch multiple fireballs in all directions.
I turn in the quest. Surprised, I get to level 3. I get a new skill, lightning bolt.

5 years later……..
I have been training a lot. I have the best gear a mage can ask for! I have a quest to defeat…..the all mighty gladiator!? Hmm, I will show
him who is boss! Err.. more powerful! I see him sleeping. I throw a rock at his helmet to get his attention. He looks at me with rage in his
cold unflinching eyes. I cast a fireball followed by a lightning bolt then a earth shock he is low on health! I smile. He grins. What??? He
throws his dagger so fast it knocked me off his tower! I fall at a rapid speed every second is more agony. I hit the ground very hard, like
a anvil falling from heaven. I wake up on a cliff. “Well THAT figures” I say sadly. I train for 2 more years I come back and he is sleeping
again. This time I don’t care, I cast all of my skills at once at maximum power. I fire! He opens his eyes to meet his doom at the last second
he leaps into the blast. His armour goes flying off I pick it up and return to town. People can not believe I beat him. I sell his charred boots
for 50.000 gold. I keep the rest of the armour in a case. I send it to the start town and put it on display in a indestructible glass box.

I chose a rouge, a master in stealth and daggers. I can turn invisible and get a open attack, without notice! I am already on my 10th quest and
I am level 6 I know stealth, sprint, blind and dagger stab. I have 4 quests one to sneak in a cave and stealth past multiple level 5 zombies to
the back of the cave and fight a boss that is guarding a chest with a battle horn in it! The stolen horn! I get to the boss. Level 9 elite!
“This will be tough” I think as I jump behind it and use blind, then I stab my dagger many times in a row in his back then it falls to the ground.
I grin. It gets up again! I scream in frustration! I get rage and fury in my eyes, I stealth and hit it hard as I could, using my rage and anger.
It falls to the ground defeated. Motionless. I kick it as hard as I can, still knowing it was defeated. I open the chest quickly , I find the horn,
and 50 copper and a mana jug and a health jug. I toss the mana jug away. I stealth then sprint out of the cave like a maniac and into town. I hand
the horn to my quest giver I get to level 8. I run to my skill trainer and get the skills: sap, backs tab , kidney shot and dagger throw!
4 weeks later….
I reached level 37 and am running away from a mob of wolves because I killed their leader and they want revenge. One word can describe their speed,
anger and rage . Revenge. I use crowd stun all of them are dazed and run very slow, a snail seems faster! I see one running at me. What? I stunned
them all! ITS A ELITE! and its a rare! While running and it chasing me, I use Dagger Throw,Kidney Shot, Blind and Strike Of Agony it falls to the
ground dead. I take its tooth. I hear distant barking and get on my horse and to town. The mob followed me! 5 town guards run at them and smack
them with axes the mob lost half of the group, the rest scamper into the woods. I turn in a quest: Get a Wolf tooth.I get on my mount and ride to
the weapon smith and get a new dagger. Then I ride to the Armour smith and get a chest piece and new gloves. I get on my mount and ride to the next
town.

years later….. I am in a large cave, there are hostile enemies everywhere, 4 leap at me, I throw my dagger solid into one of them. I stealth and
vanish as I hear a cry of agony. and then another. and then 2 more! I am not the only one in here I think to myself. I see him a..a…a.. A level 7?
Wow and he is hostile to me, goodbye level 7. I stab him he tries to shot but nothing comes out he looks at me angrily and pulls out a large sword
and shield and tries to hit me but I stealth and knock the sword out of his hand! Confused, he bends down to pick it up. I grin and impale him in the
back, he falls to the ground defeated, but not dead. I complete my quest and exit the cave. I return to my quest giver and get a new mount I hop on
and run to the next quest giver, Hmm go into the base…. and get the…. OK I’ll do this quest I think as I nod toward the quest giver my horse puts his
front legs in the air and storms off with me on, to the location of where my next quest is, there I see 82 skeletal warriors 25 skeletal elite guardians
and 1 prisoner, the one I must bring back to town. Later bloodstained,tired,thirsty and hungry I get to the prisoner and rescue him and get my reward,
heavy leather armour. I thank him and head to the inn, knowing I must fight the strongest boss ever…the..next…day.

I get to the altar and face the masked mage, “Medivh” I say. The mage smiles at me. “How do you know my name?’ The Magus asked. “Because” I say
with a grin on my face “So, are we going to fight or what?” The Magus nods “I see you are a challenger, then, let, the, fight,….BEGIN ” The mage lifts
his hand, burning ice shoots out of his hands quickly the ice touches me, I freeze! Then Medivh shoots out a sizzling yellow lightning bolt at me, a few
seconds before the slow, but powerful impact crushes me, I heal of the fire-frost and run. I stealth. The Magus looks like he is channeling or summoning
some ancient power, still unaware of what is going to happen, the mage looks at where I am standing. I gasp and the great Magus chuckles and in mid-cast
time freezes, I smile because he cant move, but I CAN! I run up behind him and stab him with multiple flurries of dagger stabs in the back. I then realize
time stopped. The Magus spins around and casts a huge barrier of mist up in the air. I see a ghostly figure approach me, The past champion, “Khadr???
What are YOU doing here? You’ve been dead for many years!” I yell under my breath. “I am going to give you some advice,” The warrior said ” The Magus’s
weak spot is near his ribcage, so strike there with your hardest blast and then, you may kill him and reveal his true form then you must use this and
say the words written on it and then use your d…….” Khadr’s words were cut off as the fog vanished. The scroll dropped on the ground. “I assume he said
“dagger” I said “WHO SAID WHAT?!” Medivh thundered “Uh..uh..uh…” I stammered “WHO” Medivh repeated “Khadr” I said in a small voice. Medivh laughed and
cast multiple fire spheres at me I quickly stealth and sprint behind the Magus and stab him in the ribcage. Hard. A surprised look on Medivh’s face appeared. Medivh casts a HUGE fire-ice bolt in the air and crashes it on himself. A huge horned monster grew out of the body. “n-n-not you!” I say in a quivering voice. The Monster “Hydonm” swings his huge hand and sends me flying, I crash on the ground. Wealky I get up and pull out “The Song Of Light” and cast the heavenly spell on the demonic Hydonm. I hear a huge roar of pain and he crashes to the ground stunned. I charge up all of my power and strike him. Puffs of smoke burst into the air and vanish simultaneously. The form of Khadr appeared and said in a much calmer voice “Well done” “Thank you, now what am I to do ?” I ask “You wait for challengers, but first, wield this, he hands me a transparent sword, and as soon as it touches me it becomes a solid. “Good-bye” Khadr said floating away “Good-bye’ I say and sit in the throne and wait for the next challenger as the darkness washed over me as I fainted.
Today was the last day of school and I had a really great time . But I am sad that Mr.Poluk is going to a new school . I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed you teaching me this year and I enjoyed using the programs that you taught us how to use like edublogs , bitstrips , and how to podcast . I also think that it is really good that we did the Making a Difference program , and the Helping Haiti program . I hope that everyone has fun next year !!!!!!! Good luck at your new school Mr.Poluk !!!!!!!!! 
P.S. Our class on Bitstrips are not frowning anymore !!!!!!!!
it’s ok to say goodbye to some one if you will see them again but it’s not ok to say goodbye to some one if you will not see them again because it’s friendship that will keep each other connected together.
we will miss you me poluk so much next year so please come back the year after next year hope you have a good summer we will miss you we all wish you the best at your new school and with your new class room hope to see you again soon

The rain is so gentle when it hits the ground.
When the rain hits you its just a plump.
When the rain goes away its sad.
On the weekend i went to my camp with my Friend Britney who played during the last 3 pitch game the girls had . We played her school and she and her cousin where on the team. Hailey is her cousin and i HATE HER ! because she put a cray fish down my bathing suite top at her camp . any way back to my camp story. We all met @ my house then we desided to switch the cars we were taking. My van was full so i went with Britteny and her mom . when we got there we gave them a tour of the camp . then the adults all had a snack then we went to the w i beach in Richard landing then we went to get ice cream i got chocolate fudge brownie and cookie dough then we went to the jail across the road and there was a fake man laying in the bed then we got some pictures with the board that has holes in the faces so you can put your face in it my favourite one is when we put our ice cream in the them instead of our faces. then we went back to the camp for a canoe ride, then we had a bonfire. It was after midnight so we had to go to bed.
